My weekend project this weekend was to use my new Martha Stewart Pine Branch punch. One of our ladies brought in a beautiful card a little while ago on which she had used this beautiful punch. Loving it so much I go some into stock and kept one for myself (of course).
I punched out heaps of little pine branches and then......... nothing....... no inspiration at all.
After a couple of weeks of dragging out all the little pine branches and trying them in different ways I gave up and had a look at some galleries of cards featuring this punch and loved the look of some of the work people had posted up with wreathes so I thought I could give that a go with all the little pine branches I had.
So here is the finished article.
I took the heaps of punched out pine branches and glued them onto a circle I cut out using Spellbinder Circle Dies and finished the wreath with some tiny red flowers (a little bit of liquid pearls in the centres looked nice) and a red double bow.
I mounted a square cut using the Spellbinders Lacey Squares die onto a cream 145cm2 card and then mounted the wreath over the top. I finished the card with a circular sentiment stamped onto one of the smaller nested Lacey Squares Spellbinders die and mounted this with foam squares inside the wreath. I popped a 3 diamenties that I had coloured with Copic markers to match, onto the sentiment to tie in the red bow and flowers.

Cheery Santa & Spellbinders
My weekend project was to colour the super cute "Cheery Santa" image from Make it Crafty.
I cheated just a little and used the sentiment from "Cheeky Santa" again from Make it Crafty.
Then I cut the finished image using Spellbinders circle dies and mounted them onto gold paper also cut using Spellbinder circle dies and then onto patterned paper.
Yes I seem to have reverted to a clean a simple style for the moment. It seemed to suit this card!
We have a great range of Make it Crafty stamps in stock and can give help and guidance on choosing your Copic markers for great colour blending.

Fairy Dahlia Card
How can you not love Make it Crafty's range of stamps. And we have just expanded our range of these gorgeous stamps! Just in time for Christmas we have the Aussie Santa, Cheeky Santa and Cheery Santa stamps as well as the Aussie Christmas Tree and Snow Elf stamps.
And some very good news (as I know there are a few people waiting for these dies) is that we will have a new supply of the Marianne Craftables Dies arriving next week. So if you have been waiting for the circle or oval craftables come in a get yours while they are still here.
While we are talking about some of my favourite things, I had the opportunity of a little play recently. Make it Crafty Stamps, Copic Markers, Marianne Dies and Memory Box Dies - these are a few of my favourite things! So what better than to be able to combine them on a card!
I coloured the Make it Crafty "Fairy Dahlia" stamp with Copic Markers - YR31, Y15, Y28 for hair; RV000, RV10, RV21 for her dress and flower; E000, E00, E11 and R20 for her skin. I also used C0 for grey highlight around the image and gold gel pen for her anklet and bracelet. Her wings are B0 and white gel pen to add veins. The I fussy cut and mounted the image of a piece of Pink Gelato Kaiser Craft Paper from their paper pad. I mounted that to a burgundy card and then onto a white A6 card.
As she is Fairy Dahlia I decided to adorn the card with a hand made paper dahlia in white. I made this using the Marianne Craftable Die CR1201 (medium and small flower die) combined with a small Carl Craft petal die.
Then using this beautiful "Delicate Fern" Memory Box Die and the leaves from the Marianne Die "Bird on a Branch", I added some soft little leaves.
